About PRP
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), is a non surgical treatment option, where a patient’s own blood is used to stimulate healing and tissue regeneration for musculoskeletal injuries.
How we do it
A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient’s arm and spun, to separate the plasma. Then this plasma rich in platelets is injected under Ultrasound Guidance, into the injured site.
PRP enhances your body healing potential, regeneration of tissue, slowing down osteoarthritis and ultimately decreasing pain.

“I started seeing Dr. Galvez when my PCP referred me to him. If you are looking for a doctor to treat your orthopedic needs or injury from any kind of sports, Dr. Galvez is the one. He does not rush and gives you attention so that you feel as though you are the only patient in the office. He is very thorough and leaves no stone unturned. He continues to impress me with each visit. Being someone in the medical field, I know what to look for and he’s got it.”
