About Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is designed to relieve pain and promote healing in joints and connective tissues. It stimulates the body’s natural healing processes and promoting the growth of new, healthy tissue.

How we do it

A mix of dextrose, lidocaine and normal saline is injected into the area to be treated, that could be a joint, bursa, tendon or ligament.

Dr. Galvez always performs Prolotherapy treatments under Ultrasound Guidance.
